Section 65
Secrecy of election documents or records
(1) In case of voting by documents or electronic devices used in the election, such records shall be opened as necessary for the purpose of counting of votes, and after the work of counting of votes is completed, it shall be sealed and placed in the custody of the designated officer.
(2) Sealed envelopes, bags, sacks or records containing sealed ballots, voters' lists used in voting and invalidated ballots in accordance with sub-section (1) can only be opened and viewed by the court in connection with a complaint filed in accordance with the prevailing law.
(3) According to sub-section (2), after opening the documents or records, the said court shall keep the documents or records sealed as per the order of the court. Apart from the court, no other authority or body shall have the right to open such envelope, bag or sack.
(4) The documents or records mentioned in this section shall be preserved for three months from the date of the final decision of the case in case of litigation, and for three months from the date of payment of the appeal period in the case of no litigation.
